Anti-Stress Tea Recipe

Feeling the urge to cover yourself in six weighted blankets while eating shredded vegan cheese straight from the bag and occasionally screaming into your pillow? Us too. While a cup of this calming tea can’t make all the bad things go away, it can help soothe stress. It’s made with chamomile and lavender, both of which are lauded for their ability to help settle the mind and body. It also contains lemon balm, an herb that may help boost the brain’s production of GABA, a mood-regulating neurotransmitter. 

Anti-Stress Tea

Ingredients:

2 cups boiling water
1 teaspoon chamomile blossoms, dried 
1 teaspoon lemon balm, dried
1/2 teaspoon lavender blossoms, dried 
Honey (optional)

Instructions:

1. In a large, heat-proof container, combine all ingredients and gently stir. 
2. Let steep for 15-20 minutes. 
3. Strain into cups. Add honey to taste. 

Or if you’re feeling lazy, try these dissolvable chamomile tea strips.
