Some food pairings are just meant to be—peanut butter and banana, cinnamon and chocolate, or in this case, all of the above with a toasted twist.
This Air Fryer Banana Peanut Butter Toast from Adina Akhmetova, or @vegangirlboss, shows how to use these ingredients in an easy recipe.
Peanut butter, full of protein and fiber, is spread on toasted sourdough. Then, potassium-rich bananas are piled on top. Lastly, everything gets sprinkled with cinnamon and mini dark chocolate chunks. The end result: A nourishing snack that will help keep the dreaded 3 p.m. slump at bay.
